Goals and Objectives
Created by an act of the Florida legislature in 1969, The Tri-County Airport Authority is a
"Special District" government entity, and as such, is required to comply with all Special District laws, rules and regulations.

By an act of the Florida legislature, beginning October 1, 2024 each Special District must establish goals and objectives for each program and activity undertaken, and must establish performance measures and standards to determine if the Special District's goals and objectives are being achieved.

By December 1, 2025 (and by each December 1 thereafter), each Special District must publish an annual report on their website describing the performance measures and standards used, the goals and objectives achieved as well as those goals and objectives that they failed to achieve. 

The Tri-County Airport Authority finalized their one year goals and five year goals during their November 12, 2024 meeting, which were first presented in draft form in October.  We invite you to view these goals here.
